Many Patients Notice Immediate Improvement
Many of our patients will notice at least a mild improvement in pain, mobility, and other symptoms. Other patients notice a big change! This may only last a short time since the chiropractic process is a journey, not an immediate fix. Remember, we are striving for spinal correction that lasts and not just a temporary reduction in symptoms. Even if you feel much better after a first adjustment, keep your appointments with us to ensure we help you find a spinal correction that lasts!
Some Patients Have No Noticeable Change
You might not notice anything after one adjustment. That does not mean it wasn’t effective! This process builds, so it might take some time for your body to notice the changes. Just know that with each adjustment, we are improving your nervous system’s ability to communicate and increasing circulation.
A Few Patients Experience Mild Discomfort
Many subtle changes will occur as your body begins the process towards optimal health. These changes could lead to slight discomfort or muscle soreness. That isn’t a bad thing! It means your muscles are better positioned to reestablish proper mechanical structure and function appropriately. It can be like the soreness you might feel after a workout. This is all a sign that progress is occurring, and you are moving in the right direction to get your body healed and healthy. For a few patients, there might be some nausea or lightheadedness. That is due to the released toxins that have built up. This is usually short-lived.
